Notes

One of the most renowned of the Beaujolais Crus, where vines have been grown since Julius Cesar’s time (hence the name).

A vigorous, powerfully built wine with a very deep ruby robe.

The nose is dense with notes of peony, violet or cinnamon and raspberry and blackcurrant aromas.

It is as enjoyable young as after a few years in the cellar.

Alcohol Level 13% Vol

Food Pairing

Pizza, Pasta and Cheese.

Serve at 14°C with coq au vin, game and poultry in sauce,  Pizza, Pasta with red sauce.
